DRUMMING, FOREVER DRUMMING: EPISODE TWELVE

So in continuing my series on my musical exploits over the last decade or so, here’s the next instalment. (Click here for the update if you don’t know what i’m talking about.)

There’s been a lot of music made over the last 3 years and to be honest I can’t remember which order it happened in so I figured I’ll start here ‘cause it’s about as far back as I can remember.

This song is called Lost Kids by Million and is on an EP that James Jackson recorded in August 2009. If you like this song, and you should, go and download the whole ep here for nothing.

As i’ve probably stated in the past, this band is kinda my project thang. It’s the band where I truly get to do whatever I want, free of whatever style I might be trying to adhere to. Sure this band probably fits into some sort of genre, but I assure you that’s purely accidental. That probably shows I guess.

We’ve been plagued by administration woes with another local band stealing our name out of spite, and one of the guys moved to Toronto, which makes it hard to practice. Having rediculous setbacks has been a recurring theme for us, but in whatever form, I hope that we’ll keep meeting up to make more music. In a weird way, this band is the casual fling I need to perpetuate to make the marriage more spicy.
